Here are a few concrete examples of how we helped our clients:

Cyber Future Dialogue, Davos

Practically speaking, cybersecurity is still an afterthought for many businesses. Traditionally leaders rarely considered cyber threats as it relates to commercial challenges and business risk. CFF launched the Cyber Future Dialogue to bridge the gap between business leaders and cyber experts. In this exclusive forum business executives meet with cybersecurity experts at Davos. The dialogue style enabled executives, c-suite, and board members to understand cyber risks in commercial and policy contexts. This first cyber-focused Davos forum revealed strategic cyber issues to governments, companies, and public organizations that need to be addressed at the highest levels of organizational and global leadership.

Cyber Workforce Development Program (CWDP) and Transformational Learning Framework

Cybersecurity industry has a massive shortage of skilled workers while facing rising cyberthreats. There are over 1 million open cyber security jobs. CWDP provides a model for developing the cyber workforce and tapping into the full ecosystem. This was proposed and adopted to develop the US DoL Cyber apprenticeship program. In addition, the transformative learning framework helped in expanding the learning opportunities at every level of organization and fast-tracked workforce and capacity development.

Society of Mentors

Cyber security leaders and candidates require a collaborative engagement platform for learning from each other and continuously developing their professional knowledge and abilities. CFF founded the Society of Mentors to structure mentorship. Whether it is someone who is trying to break into cyber security or someone who has been a practitioner for a long time, the Society of Mentors platform provides a structured montor-mentee engagement where members can share and learn. This scalable platform tracks candidate progress and increasing direct communication between mentors and mentees need to have towards their professional growth.

CFF community of leaders wanted to have a full view of the issues and challenges related to cyber workforce and identify the solutions based on that. CFF's 2021 Annual Meeting introduced Cyber Talent Week to encourage all stakeholders associated with cyber talent and workforce development together. The event showcases North American cyber security workforce development resources and assembles the full ecosystem for a joint effort at solving the cyber workforce issue.
