Stacie has a reputation for going full speed ahead and not taking "no" for an answer. This is a good trait to have when bringing in new business for a company. She's proud of the fact that she listens more than she speaks and can figure out what a client needs and how she can meet those needs.

Stacie is currently helping business owners by doing their marketing and helping them get more clients for free. She also teaches young female business owners how to work in a diverse environment. She mentors them to find solutions to their current problems. When starting a new business, there are always issues that come up and creative ways to work through them and come out stronger.

Stacie has learned to give more responsibility and leadership to those below her so that they can both gain experience and confidence. She makes this part of the company's culture by setting up partner and associate mentor programs where younger attorneys can learn from and work with more experienced lawyers.

When asked about criticism, she explains she doesn’t take it personally and uses it as a catalyst to improve. There are always areas of improvement in everyone including leaders.

Stacie also expresses that when someone is inefficient, most likely it is due to personal issues or something happening in their lives. She takes it in stride and tries to meet with them one-on-one to learn what is going on and cater her approach to the specific person or issue at hand. She feels that communication should always be open and clear.

Going further, she explains that the latest technologies are focused on getting our department's internal systems to talk to each other and gather all the data in one place. Data is the key to increasing revenue and also adjusting margins to increase profitability. There are many tools out there for various things, and integrating those tools so that they work for you and not against you is the key to an organization’s success.

We try to be ahead of the curve when it comes to our rate structure, but what really sets a law firm apart is their customer service and ability to proactively manage cases. Stacie believes Resnick & Louis has differentiated itself from the market by always being available when there is a problem and effectively determining a solution. Their managing partners are always happy to help, day or night, and will go back into the trenches instead of just watching from the sidelines.

Stacie has implemented a way to measure attorney and law firm performance and legal spend across their 12 states by working with accounting and analyzing the shelf life of a case. The issue some carriers have is that they want to keep their legal spend to a minimum and push cases to resolution, and she thinks having data that can show them exactly what was spent on each case and how long every phase from inception to resolution took is highly beneficial.

As Stacie explains, our biggest achievements are creating a workplace that is diverse and inclusive but also being able to not only bring on 140 plus insurance carriers but keep the same carriers for the last 12 years. I think that is a testament to our relationship management and business development efforts.

Stacie has a couple of solutions that will allow them to pull more in-depth reports from Salesforce and analyze the data so they can further assist them in pushing cases to where they need to be. She is also working on making webinars easier to use so that adjusters can get more access and CE credit is easy to get with the click of a button.
