“TourBook is an on-demand software platform utilizing live experiences to connect event creators and attendees. It enables real-time and concurrent access to tools, documents, and resources,” according to Lewin Wanzer, CEO of Montego Services, LLC, TourBook. The software primarily serves the entertainment industry via tour managers and musicians; however, it can also serve business planners, wedding planners, and individual consumers. It is a one-stop-shop for planning and executing small to large-scale live, virtual, and hybrid events. The social marketing feature of the platform improves consumer engagement and ticketing operations. “It’s in-depth event analytics help event planners be more sustainable, productive, and efficient,” states Lewin.

 

“The technology sector is undergoing constant change, and I have learned that we must remain at the forefront of that change. Collaboration helps us stay familiar with what’s happening and positions us well to adapt. Once you have a collaborative leadership approach, your ideas get adopted by your people instead of having to be incorporated from above. Our experience of working with collaboration and business technology leaves us poised to become the number one innovator in this space. I have gained leadership experience through a variety of endeavors, including my time as a baseball player, bassist, technologist, and CEO of a technology company. I enjoy assisting aspiring business owners with the sensible aspects of starting a corporation. My most vital piece of advice for them is to not only put forth the effort and persevere but also attempt to always give something back.” explains Lewin. For instance, Lewin plans to give something back by collaborating with his community to assist the homeless population in regaining employment opportunities.

“Collaboration is important in everything we do,” says Lewin. Our commitment to cutting-edge technology has allowed us to remain at the forefront of digital transformation and cooperation. For instance, Power Automate attracted my curiosity thanks to the logic and automation it offers. Microsoft Cloud and Power Tools are going to be integrated into TourBook. These, we believe, improve the merchandise and user experience. Since 2003, I have seen tons of automation, including an area government project that required tons of servers to support. Now that Power Automate and related solutions are available, I have steered Montego towards supporting business process automation and AI. We have been using these technologies since 2005, and we have focused our support on the Microsoft cloud since the outset. It has helped with content management, security, communications, user experience, customization, and other operations.

In our investor pitch, we discussed our competitors and how Montego distinguishes itself from them. Event planners and managers usually use several expensive software platforms to rearrange and manage events. This is a problem TourBook solves. We do so by offering a one-stop-shop, cost-effective solution and learning from our competitor’s mistakes. First and foremost, don't anticipate things to function the same way; instead, focus on the fact that we are dealing with the same problem, as I have learned from educating other business owners, says Lewin.

Lewin goes on to explain, “We enjoy what we do and are pleased with what we have accomplished, particularly the level of creativity and collaboration that went into TourBook. Of course, it's nice to receive compliments from others. Being featured on CNBC as a firm on the verge of introducing such a groundbreaking product was very thrilling. It was exciting to share our story with such a broad audience, and I believe that many of the viewers will benefit from our product. Cloud computing is the way of the future, in my opinion.” Montego plans to develop solutions and build user experiences in this area as a result. We would also like to help companies migrate their digital data from on-premises to cloud-based solutions. Our solutions are beneficial to event planners that will help them become more productive, collaborative, and deadline-oriented, as well as ensure that everyone is on the same page. Montego is taking things to the next level as we prepare to release an event management solution to enhance the way organizations and individuals manage events in 2022.

“Although digital transformation is the focus of our business, we're continually on the lookout for new opportunities. But, for the time being, I am not going to go into depth,” says Lewin. We are working on the current TourBook, an upcoming release. The four applications that will be featured are mobile, application web, event site, and vendor management.
