Prioritize learning taking on challenges and helping others

NexGen Exterior Home Remodeling offers exceptional customer and post-sale services.

Jesse Bator, principal of sales, co-founded the company in 2014. They serve southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey professionally. They strive to outperform other exterior home remodelers by providing a positive experience from start to finish, while making incredible transformations to boost a home's value, functionality, and appeal!

Jesse wanted to create a transparent, process-driven exterior remodeling company that the industry desperately needed. He noticed that most are either high-pressure sales companies or unscalable owner-operators. They combine the finest, and their 15-step customer success plan guides customers through the entire process and brings their vision to life. What once was a nerve-wracking and frustrating process is now stress-free and enjoyable! They specialize in decks, roofing, siding, windows, and gutters and live by their motto, "on time, on budget, on your side."

Jesse, as a leader, has been learning continuously, never gets comfortable, and values reading, exercising, and staying healthy with a consistent diet and lifestyle. He thinks leaders must constantly be on top of their game. He also emphasizes self-care since in his view, our mind, body, soul, all need to be working harmoniously to achieve the highest potential.

In addition, he stresses that self-leadership is crucial to leading others, and hence he must always stay hungry and work hard!

When it comes to employee management, Jesse also considers a wide range of additional factors. He stays informed about their home, work, and emotional status. The company strives to create an environment where everyone can express their concerns openly and investigate options together. They expect nothing more from their employees than honesty, loyalty, and a positive attitude. Their market for employees is simple, and for that, they hire people who are honest, diligent, and team players. According to him, good individuals connect and seek the best to grow with.He also added that the excitement in a group that loves what we do is contagious; they want vital strength in their people and company!

Jesse offers a few suggestions for potential leaders. He values respect and listening above talking. He believes that combining processes and building true, trusting relationships are the keys to leading others. He advises leaders to develop and inspire others for collective direction. Since there is so much good material at hand, he suggests reading and watching videos consistently. Inspiring leaders should talk to industry and non-industry executives as well.

Adding to it, he explains, “Incorporating attributes like learning, taking on challenging tasks, and helping others into the leadership DNA is always beneficial and can reflect in the way you lead your organization.”

Jesse believes that when it comes to communication, a leader should always start by listening first, think afterward, and avoid reacting emotionally to any issues or concerns. He is of the opinion that leaders should genuinely care about each member of their team while considering all potential outcomes and angles. For him, everyone is unique, and they all react differently, but as a leader, he suggests you must determine the best means of communicating with each personality type effectively.

Since decisions are essential, Jesse recommends avoiding making emotional decisions, as they have the worst outcomes. Take a deep breath, calm your mind, and then formulate your thoughts in order to reach a decision. Therefore, they focus on high-level decisions—research and data—and taking the time to make sure they are making the right decision. He claims that numbers don’t lie and can tell a story if you know how to look at them through different lenses. They focus on maintaining a culture where individuals like working, want to succeed, and want to grow professionally and personally! They value growth and love growing their team and reaching new consumers and states. Their upcoming TV appearances are also exciting!

Jesse prioritizes customers over market knowledge. Their market forecast was for over USD 340 billion in 2020 and is expected to increase by over 4.1% from 2023–2032. Their business model is scalable and successful, and their present, future and investors will benefit from plans to explore other states.

NexGen is constantly evolving and is never stagnant, says Jesse. They report, analyze, and enhance processes and scalable business practices using real data. By keeping up with trends, technology, and industry advancements, they will outperform their competitors. With a strong and respectful culture, NexGen is planning to become a nationwide company to help communities wherever they serve, and their main priority is growing their NexGen family both internally and externally!
