Trinity Medical Multi-Specialty Group, initially focused on gastroenterology, has now expanded its services to include hepatobiliary surgery, surgical oncology, pulmonology with pulmonary robotics, anesthesia services, and integrative medicine. As its Founder, CEO and Medical Director, Dr. Indraneel Chakrabarty is committed to delivering top-notch care to each and every patient.
After earning a Master of Arts in Medicine and a medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Chakrabarty completed his medical education in the city of Boston. He worked as a hospitalist and teaching associate at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard School of Medicine teaching Internal Medicine residents, before finishing his gastroenterology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic, which included training in advanced gastroenterology. In 2011, he decided to return to his hometown region of Hemet/Temecula and put all his efforts into expanding gastroenterology services. Thereafter in 2013, he became the Director of Gastroenterology at Temecula Valley Hospital and established his own medical practice. He has now opened a clinic with several exam rooms and a surgery center with state-of-the-art operating rooms, nine pre-op and post-op beds for providing high-quality healthcare. The surgery center is AAA-certified, as well as Medicare-certified. It is also designated by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy as a Quality Endoscopy Unit.
Dr. Chakrabarty has many hobbies and has always had a passion for working with his hands, particularly in art and photography. These interests have shaped his worldview and have also been beneficial to his career as a gastroenterologist, as performing procedures requires good hand-eye coordination and an understanding of mechanics and technology. Additionally, his hobbies have allowed him to meet new people and build a network. On April 6th, his center hosted a Cancer Awareness Health Festival to educate people on how they can prevent colon cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, and pancreatic cancer. The event also exhibited supercars and his photography.
Dr. Chakrabarty’s compassion and work ethic can be attributed to his parents', as his father left India in the 1970s and immigrated to the United States with only $25.00 in his pocket to pursue his dreams and achieve the American Dream. Dr. Chakrabarty believes in setting a good example and treating others with compassion, kindness, and respect. He comes from a family of several generations of physicians. He values aligning personal and work values. By creating a close-knit atmosphere and promoting open communication, the company has low turnover and a positive work environment. There are clear paths for employee advancement that focus on providing exceptional patient care. Individuals must ensure that their values match the company's for employee and physician satisfaction, as well as to prevent burnout.
Dr. Chakrabarty wanted to build a clinic and surgery center with a spa-like atmosphere rather than a typical sterile clinic to cater to patients of all backgrounds. They implemented technology, such as a sophisticated EMR system and touch-screen displays in exam rooms, to improve patient care and communication. He also wanted to blend the autonomy of private practice with the intellectual stimulation of academic health institutions, so he became a clinical faculty member at Temecula Valley Hospital and started the gastroenterology fellowship program there. This allows for improved quality of care and potential growth for their company, combining the best of both private practice and academic medicine.
Dr. Chakrabarty recognized the need for a multispecialty group in the area and conducted a study to determine the feasibility of integrating a clinic and a surgery center. After finding a suitable location near Temecula Valley Hospital, he built the center. In addition to this initiative, he implemented a program that offers urgent clinic visits within 48 hours to keep patients out of the hospital. Furthermore, he started a gastroenterology fellowship program at Temecula Valley Hospital, training two fellows each year for three years. This program allows them to recruit top regional candidates. The company also offers benefits to its employees, such as 401K and healthcare, which is uncommon for many small practices.
Dr. Chakrabarty specializes in treating pre-cancer and cancer patients in the GI field, with the support of a dedicated staff that goes above and beyond to assist patients. They genuinely care about making a positive impact on people's lives, explains Dr. Chakrabarty, as he has a personal connection to the area. To ensure quality patient care, the practice has implemented efficient practices using medical assistants, scribes, and electronic medical records. This allows the physicians to spend more time directly interacting with patients, understanding their stories, making accurate diagnoses, and discussing treatment options together.
Trinity Medical Multi-Specialy Group is Southwest Riverside County’s most advanced surgical medical center.
In addition, they combine modern and alternative medicine in their practice, customizing treatment plans for each patient. Dr. Chakrabarty’s Indian background has influenced his belief in the benefits of alternative medicine. Their team learns from patients and creates a tranquil atmosphere with his facility and photography. First Surgery Center, equipped with advanced technology and certified nurse anesthesiologists, ensures patient comfort. Dr. Chakrabarty works five days a week in the clinic and handles emergencies at local hospitals seven days a week for continuous care. Patients appreciate the smooth transition between inpatient and outpatient care. Their focus on reputation, trust, and transparency has led to the success and growth of the practice.
A team of healthcare professionals work together to provide complete care for patients, including gastroenterology, advanced gastroenterology, hepatobiliary surgery, surgical oncology, pulmonology, anesthesia services, and integrative medicine. They can quickly refer patients to other specialists in the same team, making treatment faster and more efficient. They use the same electronic medical record system, making patient information easily accessible. This collaboration helps to reduce costs by sharing employees, supplies, and other facility expenses. The group's pulmonologist and surgical oncologist also have teaching and training roles for future doctors, further promoting collaboration and academic involvement while still having a private practice.
Trinity Medical Multi-Specialty Group’s main focus is on providing exceptional care to all. They value integrity, first-rate treatment, and keeping up with the latest developments in medicine. They are looking for skilled physicians to join their team to meet the growing demand for medical services in their area and offer healthcare options that were previously only available in distant cities. By recruiting doctors who share their values, they aim to provide outstanding care to their patients. Trinity Medical Multispecialty Group is always accepting new patients.
