“Engagement comes with Knowledge, and Knowledge comes through Education”

Today the current economic situation in Nigeria is characterized by the steady decline of middle-class households due to the unequal distribution of the country's natural resources and high level of corruption. However, these "middle-class families" are more than qualified for a better life in other western/developed countries. Under the leadership of CFO & CEA Dr. Ejiro Uriri Osiobe, the "Ane Osiobe International Foundation (@aneosiobe)" aims to give hope to rural communities worldwide, the opportunity to compete on a more level playing field. Dr. Ejiro is also known as Dr. Jiji E. U. Osiobe. Dr. Ejiro, in addition, is a professor at Baker University with the following areas of specialization: Economic Development, Data Analytics, Business Law, and Financial (Central and Decentralized) Systems. His research work includes the following: Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Academia

The Foundation is established in honor of Mrs. Ann E. Osiobe. In addition, an African women empowerment book was published in her honor and the recognition of other amazing Nigerian women; the book can be found on Amazon. He indicates that the book is also available for free on ResearchGate. Dr. Jiji hopes that one day he will be viewed as a role model who "inspired others" to make the world a better place in the best way possible because every net positive on earth is a valuable contribution. To his direct team, he always tells them that "Grace and Rest" are pivotal in bringing out the best in anyone.

Ejiro Uriri Osiobe also known as Jiji Ejiro U. Osiobe is the founder and Chief Financial Officer of Ane Osiobe International Foundation; a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that operates as an Economic Development Organization (EDO) in the city of Abuja Nigeria.

When asked about empowering his team to solve the company's problems, Dr. Ejiro states that everybody can [develop themselves (into) or learn (to become) a] fantastic leader. Rather than relying on favoritism, we employ a non-biased meritocratic system in which the individual who proposes the most effective solution to a problem is given the lead position for the project. This ensures maximum success with minimal loss. Furthermore, every team member has the power to figure out how to solve the team's problems. This is because we are working to solve "Wicked Problems," which don't just include problems with access to education, educational materials, and research and development.

When the Foundation was based in Nigeria, the Foundation's aim(s) was to be the first choice for students in Nigeria and the city of Abuja who requires educational support and services. In the past years, the Foundation has helped underfunded schools, worked with special-needs schools, helped local communities dig wells, drilled boreholes (to provide clean drinking water), and helped entrepreneurs start local farms. Dr. Ejiro also encourages all aspiring business owners to have faith in themselves, be open-minded, and be quick to forgive. In addition, it is important to give others time to adjust to new information, to help others at all times, and prioritize self-care.

The Ane Osiobe International Foundation (@aneosiobe) has recently transitioned and is based in the United States of America as a 501(c)(3) dedicated to research and economic development in rural America and working to collaborate closely with rural communities "think tanks" to foster economic growth and development. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we measure our metrics using the "Gift Economics" methodology. In simple terms, our services and contributions to our clients are not sold but given without an explicit agreement for immediate or future rewards. He adds that this economic school of thought is undervalued and, in some cases, not even known to people who work in the non-profit sector. According to Dr. Jiji E. U. Osiobe, using the "Gift Economic" approach give the Foundation a comparative advantage in the Non Profit sector.

As he finishes up, Dr. Ejiro says: "Our support and encouragement allow people to realize their potential and have fulfilling lives." We place a premium on assisting others in need. They aim to learn more about themselves while also gaining insight into how they might improve their abilities. Since our focus is on underserved areas, we usually use the same technology that the people we want to help already use.
