Joining DailyPay a little less than a year ago, Irene Hendricks, an award-winning Human Resources Executive, has displayed outstanding forward-thinking leadership and dedication to building a world class People team that is in line with DailyPay’s core values. And she achieved this during the worst human health crisis in a century. Irene’s strategic approach to developing an inclusive, people-first workplace that celebrates diversity and inclusivity has been a driving force behind DailyPay’s rapid growth. Within her first few months at DailyPay, Irene has scaled the People organization dramatically to support DailyPay’s rapid growth, built out formal talent management and development practices to support DailyPay’s goal to create a generational company, launched new tools and processes for recruiting, and established the company’s total rewards and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion functions while expanding the Business Partner team to provide strategic partnership. Irene was an integral part of DailyPay’s Series D process as well as its recent brand relaunch, and has flowed the new brand through to both employee and candidate stakeholders. Her ability to work cross functionally with other leaders has deeply impacted the expansion and positioning of DailyPay as the leading financial technology platform in the industry.
As the CPO at DailyPay, Irene took responsibility to create a window of opportunity for all - including female professionals. With the resources available, she focuses on creating environments to help women thrive, whether it’s working with DailyWomen, DailyPay’s women-centric employee resource group, or planning out career development strategies to create the next generation of leaders in the fintech industry. She recently established a pilot partnership with Women Unlimited to invest in the accelerated development of high potential female leaders at DailyPay.

Irene believes that all leaders must take an active role in developing diverse talent within their organizations. She and her team have focused on ensuring that employees have a voice in their growth and development and a platform to envision their futures via structured career development discussions with leaders, and she’s committed to serving as a resource for DailyPay colleagues as well as numerous external individuals in her network.
